Phthalates and Bisphenol A Allegedly Leach and Create Human Health Problems

The Seattle Times reports that studies have linked phthalates, reportedly used to make some baby toys, food containers and cling wraps, to a plethora of problems including lower sperm counts and smaller genitalia in males. According to the article, another plastics chemical, bisphenol A (BPA), can allegedly leach from polycarbonate plastic as well.
