EU Regulates Reportedly Harmful Plastics Chemicals: Will the U.S. Follow Suit?

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, new regulations on a group of chemicals present in everyday household products, which may be behind increasing rates of cancer, infertility and diabetes, recently went into effect in the European Union (EU). Some of such alleged endocrine disrupters, including bisphenol A, are reportedly “found in plastic chemicals” and “soda and soup can linings” and “remain virtually unregulated” in the U.S.
