University Bans Plastic Bags and Urges Students to Recycle

According to The Argus, a UK publication, University of Sussex Students’ Union have removed all environmentally damaging plastic bags from its three university shops and will charge students if they want to have any bags at all. The University is also planning to remove all bins from the students’ union and replace them with recycling points for glass, paper, cans, plastics and general waste.
