Playtex to Eliminate Infant BPA Products from Inventory

The “Connecticut Post” reports Playtex Infant Care will eliminate bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical used in plastic baby bottles that Canada is considering a ban upon and that some research suggests could be linked to cancer and reproductive and developmental disorders. However, Playtex reportedly “echoed the chemical industry’s stance that Bisphenol A, a resin used to make plastic clear and durable, is safe.”
