According to the “Associated Press”, glass baby bottles are “in vogue” as concerns about the potential harmfulness of the plastic chemical bisphenol A (BPA), found in baby bottles and most other hard plastic food containers, continue to rise. As more consumers are turning to glass, manufacturers are reportedly responding with new versions of the old-fashioned favorite. Babies “R” Us had a dramatic increase in glass bottle sales in the spring of 2007 and current sales are more than five times what they were a year ago, according to the company.
