FDA Continues to Defend BPA Despite Major Study Denouncing its Safety

The “Associated Press” reports a Food and Drug advisory committee continues to defend the safety of the plastic chemical bisphenol A (BPA) as a new major study released results linking BPA to possible risks of heart disease and diabetes. The FDA advisory panel is reportedly expected to make its recommendations to the FDA late next month.
