BPA Scientist Criticizes Study FDA Uses to Assess Safety of BPA

“Environmental Health News” reports during the recent FDA hearing on BPA, Dr. Frederick vom Saal presented a critique of the paper that the FDA has called its gold standard for determining the safety of bisphenol A (BPA). This research in question was led by Dr. Rochelle Tyl of RTI and was published this spring in the peer-reviewed journal Toxicological Sciences.
