ACC Stresses Safety of BPA in Response to Canada’s Banning of the Chemical

“WebMD Health News” reports the American Chemistry Council (ACC), a plastics industry group based in Washington, D.C., issued a statement responding to Canada’s bisphenol A (BPA) baby bottle ban, reportedly stressing the safety of BPA and Canada’s “lack of finding proven risks to human health, even at low levels of exposure to bisphenol A.” The ACC also says BPA helps “to protect the safety and integrity of our food supply.”
