BPA Included in Expert’s Top Three Factors Associated with Breast Cancer

“HealthDay News” reports a new database, a joint project of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Environmental Factors and Breast Cancer Science Review project led by the Silent Spring Institute, provides people with a list of key risk factors for breast cancers, including information on 216 chemicals, diet, smoking, physical activity, and weight. According to one expert, the top three factors associated with breast cancer include the plastic food and beverage container chemical additive bisphenol A (BPA), radiation exposure from CT scans, and delayed first pregnancy.
