Will California Ban BPA?

According to the “Los Angeles Times,” the California state Senate will examine whether bisphenol A (BPA), a controversial chemical reportedly linked to hormone disruption and cancer, should be added to California’s Proposition 65 list of chemicals known to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity at a July 15th state EPA hearing in Oakland. The state Senate has already passed a ban on BPA in food and drink containers for children under the age of three.
