The “Washington Post” Reports on the BPA Controversy

The “Washington Post” reports we are all regularly exposed to bisphenol A (BPA), a synthetic chemical used primarily as an ingredient in the hard plastic called polycarbonate and in the epoxy resins that line most food and soft-drink cans, but it is uncertain whether BPA is really a danger to our health. At very high doses, BPA reportedly causes problems in lab animals such as delayed puberty and lower body weight. Now, “low dose” studies also suggest that BPA is more of a problem than previously thought.
