Sales Receipts could be Big Source of BPA

According to “The Daily Green,” unpublished research suggests that sales receipts could be a surprisingly big source of bisphenol A (BPA) exposure to American consumers, according to John C. Warner, an organic chemist and co-founder of the Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry. Warner believes BPA might be absorbed through the skin, in a manner similar to birth control patches and other hormone-delivery medical treatments.
