Minnesota Becomes First State to Ban BPA in Baby Products

“Daily Finance” reports on January 1, 2010, Minnesota became the first state to ban the chemical bisphenol A (BPA) in baby products, including baby bottles and sippy cups. The controversial chemical is used in many plastics and in canned food coatings, and scientists are increasingly concerned that BPA can harm fetuses and children.
