“Annapolis WJZ TV” reports Maryland is considering a ban on bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical used to manufacture some baby bottles and sippy cups and its effect on infants and children. Ata hearing on the ban, Sen. Brian Frosh, (D) Montgomery Co. said, “There are many studies that show BPA, which mimics estrogen, a human hormone, has long-term adverse impacts when infants, children and toddlers consume it.” Two mothers with the Maryland Public Interest Group also bought their little children to a hearing on that ban.
