Americans Rally for Recycling During 2010 Cycling Event!

raam-mdGPI’s Recycle Glass Week was the environmental sponsor for Race Across America’s 2010 cycling event, June 9th through June 21st. Recycle Glass Week sponsored five time stations during the ultra-endurance cycling event, where more than 4,000 people came out to show their support for local recycling programs in five cities, learned about the powerful environmental and energy saving benefits of recycling glass bottles and jars, and picked up some “green” giveaways provided by GPI’s Recycle Glass Week and glass manufacturing companies.
